Administrative Office Assistant: Manage front office, telephone, bulk mailings, various databases, camper registration, family contact, assist with billing. HS degree; bachelor’s degree, business training or general office experience desirable; non-profit preferred. Experience with MS Word and Excel required. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and accurately and prioritize multiple tasks. Wage: $14.75 – $15.00 per hour. Respite Apprentice (Fall 2018 & Spring 2019):
There are 8 positions currently available. The AmeriCorps Respite Apprentice provides recreation and care for children, youth, and adults with disabilities who attend Respite Camp weekends in Wisconsin Dells, WI. Members are responsible for leading campers through program activities and encouraging participation, ensuring camper safety, and assisting with personal care and behavioral needs. Members receive room and board during weekends at camp, a living allowance, and an education award of $1,252.91 upon successful completion of the program. This commitment includes the following required weekends of service for fall 2018: September 7-9 (training), September 28-30, October 12-14, November 2-4, November 16-18, November 30- December 2, December 7-9, and December 27-30 (Note: 4 days). For spring 2019: January 19-21 (training + MLK day) & 25-27, February 8-10 & 22-24, March 1-3, 8-10, & 29-31, and April 26-28.
