Current Open Full-Time Positions
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AmeriCorps Program Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment and enrollment of members, training and citizenship education, monitoring and evaluating program activities and member performance. Required reporting, ensuring compliance with grant requirements of AmeriCorps and Serve Wisconsin. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies. The Program Manager will work closely with AmeriCorps members to maximize members’ experience, facilitating communication, e.g. newsletter, and weekly/bi-weekly/monthly meetings, and training to meet members’ interests and needs, contributing to their growth of overall service experience with Easterseals Wisconsin programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment of AmeriCorps members to serve in Easter Seals Wisconsin programs.
- Lead the selection, enrollment, orientation, and training of AC members, in consultation with AC member supervisors (ESW staff).
- Plan and provide member orientation and training, e.g. citizenship, professional development, and life skills training.
- Manage AC member files and ensure that online databases used for tacking AC member service, e.g. ONCorps, MyAmeriCorps, eGrants, are accurate and regularly updated.
- Manage the collection of data and documentation to assure program implementation, including member performance and program outcomes, and member enrollment and exit in accordance with grant requirements.
- Maintain knowledge and strict adherence to National Service Criminal History Check procedures in accordance with AmeriCorps regulations for both grant funded staff and AmeriCorps members.
- Assist the CFO in collection and reporting of financial data, personnel, and payroll information.
- Assist the Director of marketing in promotion of the ESW AmeriCorps Partnership to the media, public, and potential members
- Participate as required to AmeriCorps meetings and events, including the annual national service conference and all applicable Serve Wisconsin meetings, conferences, and functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation, special education, social work or related field.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong budgeting skills with experience managing financial resources effectively.
- Very highly organized and extremely detail-oriented and meticulous, with the ability to work independently and to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively with the public, AC members, and staff as a member of the team; excellent interpersonal skills.
- Possess a valid driving license and good driving record.
- Experience with Management and supervisory roles, federal or state-funded grant programs, individuals with disabilities and AmeriCorps strongly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year

Seasonal Current Open Positions at Camp
Wisconsin Dells: Easterseals Wisconsin’s AmeriCorps members provide direct personal care and lead therapeutic recreation activities for individuals with disabilities, youth transitioning to more independent living, and veterans and their families at Easterseals Wisconsin Camps. AmeriCorps members will receive on-site training and orientations, a biweekly stipend throughout their term, and an Education Award upon successful completion of term. Members will serve closely with both general staff and volunteers to ensure that caregivers can rest easy while their loved ones are at camp, knowing that they will be surrounded by a professional and dedicated team.

Located in Wisconsin Dells: Starting at $17-$18 per hour (16-17 weeks, May through end of August), we are looking for an individual to join our Maintenance Department and assist with the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities. Responsible for helping keep the grounds in top condition. Assist Maintenance Lead in operation and upkeep of our camps on 400 acres that serve people of all abilities in Wisconsin Dells.
Experience in plumbing, carpentry, grounds upkeep, and/or vehicle maintenance preferred, but not required. CPO Certification is a plus! We will work with your skill set if you are the right person for the job. If you don’t like to have the same day twice, enjoy working outside, and enjoy working with a diverse group of people, this is a great opportunity!
Located in Wisconsin Dells: Starting at $500 per week (for domestic U.S Staff), these positions are responsible for the direct care of our campers. They provide social support, personal care support, mealtime assistance and help facilitate their camper’s day to day activities by accompanying them to activity areas and trips and providing adaptive support or direction and participating alongside them. They spend all day with their campers with the support of the leadership team.

Wisconsin Dells: We need nurses! We are looking for RNs, LPNs, and GNs to join us for our weekend and summer programs. We also have great opportunities for student nurses to work directly with our campers as counselors and programmers.

Located in Wisconsin Dells: Starting at $450 per week, Kitchen staff are responsible for supporting the cooks in the kitchen. Daily tasks range from dishes to laundry to sweeping and mopping. Food and nutrition is one of the most important parts of the day to ensure our campers are nourished so they can go out and have fun on camp! Typical shifts for kitchen staff is breakfast-dinner with breaks between mealtimes when tasks are complete.

Housekeeping staff are responsible for the cleanliness around camp. They attend to camper laundry when needed, change garbage’s, clean common areas, sanitize high traffic areas, and attend to other tasks as assigned with the support and direction of the Head Housekeeper.

Located in Wisconsin Dells: Starting at $500 per week, Pogram staff are responsible for making the FUN at camp! They plan, facilitate and adapt the activities our campers participate in during their stay at camp. Typical program areas are arts and crafts, music and dance, sports or nature. While not actively facilitating programs, these positions will be out on camp supporting counselors where needed- this could be during meal times, in the cabins/dorms and providing overnight care for campers 2-3 nights per week.

Located in Wisconsin Dells: Starting at $600 per week, Leadership staff’s main responsibility is to support the campers and staff/AmeriCorps members on camp. This could be support with camper behavior, personal care, group dynamic or additional supervision on trips or activity areas. Each leadership member has an area of focus- programs, camper care/staff support, trips, aquatics/ropes course. These team members receive additional training on staff supervision and support, camper support, emergency procedures and team building. These positions typically have prior experience working with people with disabilities, working at a camp or specialize is a specific program area.
