Fall Sprawl

A beautiful sunny day greeted runners and walkers at Camp Wawbeek in Wisconsin Dells for the Annual Fall Sprawl. After signing in and getting their t-shirts, participants headed for the starting line for the 5K/10K run, walk and wheel through the picturesque autumn woodlands. After the run participants enjoyed refreshments and an opportuntiy to meet Easter Seals campers.  Proceeds from the event will benefit Easter Seals Camp Wawbeek. Thanks to the many participants, volunteers and sponsors who helped to make this event a big success. This year's sponsors included Sports Impressions, SYSCO, Championship Awards, Holiday Wholesale and Jaycees Badger Corps.

Pancake Breakfast 

The 19th Annual Camp Wawbeek Pancake Breakfast was held on Sunday, October 2, 2011. Many pancakes and sausage were consumed by friends, neighbors and supporters who joined us for the morning meal. We also want to thank our volunteers who helped serve and clean up and also to our many placemat sponsors for their generous support.

We are grateful for the continued support of the Canepa School of Dance whose students performed at the Pancake Breakfast, something they have been doing for countless years. They also held dance recitals in Baraboo this summer which resulted in a donation of over $1,500 to Camp Wawbeek. Their fall dance classes will be starting soon, visit www.canepadance.com for information.
