Since 1926, Easter Seals Wisconsin has been creating life-changing solutions for individuals with disabilities and their families. Whether providing recreational opportunities for children, respite care for families, helping farmers continue to farm after a disabling accident or illness, or helping children and adults with disabilities gain greater independence in everyday living, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to address life’s challenges and to help individuals achieve personal goals.
AmeriCorps is a national service organization, often described as “the domestic Peace Corps.” Over 85,000 members serve annually in thousands of local and national non-profits. Upon successful completion, members earn an education award that can be applied toward current education costs, student loans or future education.
AmeriCorps members make a difference at Easter Seals Wisconsin! Easter Seals Wisconsin AmeriCorps members serve in many different capacities from caring for our respite campers to planning our Transitions or Veterans Family Camp sessions to serving in the community as a Camp Outreach Liaison or Volunteer Coordinator.
